STEP’s Birthday Room is a special space designed to make sure every child in St. Louis Park feels celebrated on their big day. Families with children aged 1–12 can visit the Birthday Room to select from a variety of birthday gifts, cake mixes, frosting, party supplies, and other small items. These items are provided free of charge, giving parents and caregivers the tools to create a fun and memorable celebration at home.

With the Birthday Room, STEP helps alleviate the financial stress that birthdays can bring, allowing families to focus on making their child feel loved and special. Clients can discuss this program with a social worker during their food appointment.
