This position reports to the Operations Director and works closely with the Food Rescue Coordinator and Food Logistics Coordinator. The Food Rescue Driver position is physically demanding and requires frequent bending, lifting, carrying, and sorting of items up to 75 pounds. Organization Summary

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive a refrigerated box truck and a cargo van.

• Pick up rescued food from local retail partners.

• Communicate with Food Rescue Partners about program changes, including date or pickup time adjustments.

• Load and unload food rescue product.

• Regularly lift up to 75 pounds.

• Follow food safety standards, including recording temperatures and following safe food-handling protocols and policies.

• Work in tandem with volunteers.

• Fill in when needed for our client home deliveries.

• Maintain vehicle logs.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicles clean and report issues as needed.
